MEET COACH RORIE

Smart Diehl Academy's Athletics Director

 

Tyris Rorie began his coaching career at local high schools and colleges, where he developed a strong commitment to inspiring students to strive for excellence. He later served as a District Director for Generation Uplift, mentoring at-risk youth and further expanding his impact. Currently, Tyris is the Executive Director of Chosen Leadership Academy and the owner of Chosen Services LLC, a mental health organization. In addition to his leadership roles, he is a dedicated educator, serving as a Physical Education teacher and Head Wrestling Coach at Garinger High School. Tyris brings a wealth of professional experience to each of his roles, driven by his passion for youth development and community empowerment.
