Service Description

Learn to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL) in this interactive and immersive class designed for beginners and developing signers. Students will build a strong foundation in ASL vocabulary, grammar, and conversational skills, while also gaining a deeper understanding of Deaf culture and the importance of inclusive communication. In this class, students will: Learn essential ASL vocabulary and phrases Develop conversational fluency through interactive practice Explore facial expressions and body language as key parts of ASL grammar Participate in hands-on signing activities, games, and storytelling Gain insight into Deaf culture, history, and community By the end of the semester, students will have the confidence to engage in basic ASL conversations and continue developing their fluency.
